IDeaS, a SAS company providing revenue management software and services, announced today enhancing their partnership with hospitality tech provider RMS Cloud to provide advanced pricing decision automation, according to Hospitality Net.
The companies say that the enhanced partnership will maximize occupancy and increase revenue for hoteliers through “an advanced integration that provides superior visibility into rate strategy and drives smarter decisions to achieve greater revenues.”
They noted that through this partnership, the two companies have built a two-way interface between RMS Cloud’s Hotel PMS and IdeaS’ revenue solutions, in order to facilitate efficient transfer of data between two systems and further automate and optimize key revenue management tasks.
“In order to attract guests at the right price and maximize revenues in a disrupted market today, hoteliers must have an integrated technology stack to ensure all of their systems are working seamlessly together to support business recovery,” stated Klaus Kohlmayr, IDeaS chief evangelist and development officer, in the release.
“The partnership between IDeaS and RMS Cloud will allow for the smooth transfer of data between the PMS and the RMS, removing the need for manual handling of data, freeing up time for revenue managers to focus on what really matters—growing business and revenues,” Kohmayr said.
As a result of this partnership, the companies say that hoteliers will be able to leverage advanced analytics to flexibly price products such as advance purchases, loyalty, packages, promotional rates and extended stays.
They said this in turn “provides guests with tailored product offerings based on unique demand profiles,” saying that its agile rates enable hoteliers to employ more powerful pricing strategy and keep revenue on the table.
The release also stated that due to the two-way integration formed between the two systems, both will synchronize regularly and automatically update rates multiple times per day, saving time and enabling machine-learning algorithms to react to new data inputs.
“We’re excited to continue our partnership with IDeaS and to offer market-leading revenue management technology for our users at RMS Cloud. The intuitive nature of IDeaS’ technology is impressive as it helps to remove the guesswork from setting rates and increasing yield, allowing hoteliers a purpose-driven tool to effectively maximise its revenue performance,” said Peter Buttigieg, managing director of RMS Cloud.
