Localz partners with real estate proptech MRI Software

The aim of the partnership is to expand its first-time access pool, generate savings and enhance customer experience

Localz, a location tracking and multi-party messaging proptech, has partnered with MRI Software, a real estate and investment management software company, according to a press release. The aim of the partnership is to expand its first-time access base, create operational savings for the social housing sector and enhance customer experience.

The release also stated that Localz technology will work in tandem with MRI’s platform, which utilizes the “Find My Engineer” function, to send automated ETA messages to customers to track “mobile operatives”, a feature that is similar to Uber.

“We know that customers are accustomed to personalized, “Uber-style” services, so we want to ensure that we can match these experiences in our solutions,” said Trevor Youens, senior director of partners and residential solutions at MRI Software, in the release.

This company says the service has been useful in preventing missed appointments by 20%. Localz says the Find My Engineer product also automated reminders, operative tracking, two-way messaging and feedback forms for the convenience of customers. Youens noted that Localz’s technology will generate savings and reduce the carbon footprints from companies “by eliminating unnecessary journeys.”

“Today’s end-customer is accustomed to ultra-connected experiences. Keeping your customers informed on the day of service with clear, real-time location visibility they can trust is crucial to maintaining customer satisfaction,” said Tim Andrew, CEO and co-founder at Localz, in the release.

MRI works with social housing companies like Castleton Technology, Real Asset Management, Orchard, and Housing Partners and other firms to adopt digital innovation and other associated technologies. On the other hand, Localz works with clients including Clarion Housing, Watford Housing Trust, Wates, RAC, HSS Hire, OVO Energy, Welsh Water, Autoglass, Rentokil, and Woolworths.

In other proptech news, pet policy platform PetScreening integrated with property management firm ResMan. TruAmerica Multifamily acquired 1,500 apartment units in Florida, Phoenix and Ohio.
